Sophie is a versatile musician who has been playing guitar since the age of eight years old. She has carried out her musical studies through school and college and is currently in her last year studying a popular music degree at Falmouth University. Throughout her musical life, Sophie has gained and achieved high quality skills through creativity and improvisation in live performance, collaboration with various artists, studio work and guitar production for online session work. Sophie can play various styles of genres and arrangements suitable for the artists needs. She has gigged at various local venues and festivals and has had the privilege of performing for a major record company Island Records. She currently takes part in jam nights as she believes it is a very important exercise, working higher towards her practices in playing guitar to various audiences as well as collaborating with various ages with mixed abilities. Sophie has also taken part in guitar ensembles at Falmouth and has even had the opportunity to have guitar sessions with Adrian Utley from Portishead.

 Sophie has successfully gained exposure through the platform of Instagram and has been noticed and featured on Riffwars on several occasions, as well as being entered for top four original female guitarists. She keeps further building her profile and repertoire through social media achieving with over five thousand followers.

Throughout her time at Falmouth University, Sophie has explored and pursued new skills in guitar production to promote online session work. She has been taught by a engineer at Factory Studios (Bristol) which has enabled her to record high quality guitar tracks at her home studio.
